GENERAL GUIDELINES & ADVICE FOR CASTING & MODELLING

Welcome & thank you for taking the time to read this section, it will give you some useful and helpful advice if you are wanting to find out more information before you register with our Casting Modelling Agency, this advice is ideal if you are new to the Modeling industry or if you have had some Casting / Modelling experience already.

FREE REGISTRATION

The Casting Duo will deduct an Agency fee of 20% Commission off of any work obtained through our Agency.

1. On our site you will see that we have various Casting / Modelling categories available for you to showcase your portfolio on, but there are guidelines within these that you will need to be aware of, where specific statistics are required for certain sections of the Agency.You will be able to look at the Modeling Check list for the modeling guidance statistics at the foot of this page.

2. When you have decided what category you would like to potentially register for, we will assess your application at this point, & when you have uploaded your portfolio photographs for approval, we will reach a final decision as to what category to best place you in to give you maximum exposure of your portfolio.

  3. All adult portfolios with the exception of the glamour section) sections will be able to be viewed online for public viewing but with limited content on view,and will only be able to be viewed with full content by professional clients registered onto the site.

4. If you are under 16 years of age you will need to apply & register with all your correct personal details, but you will need give the phone number contact details of a parent /guardian along with an email address.

5. Parents /guardians wanting to register infants, children & teenagers onto the Casting / Modelling Agency, will need to register all the correct personal details of them, but you will need to provide parentail address & contact numbers on the registration form.

6. All sections of the infants, children, teenagers, & the glamour model sections of the Agency, will only be able to be viewed by Casting / Modelling media, or similar professional clients or companys, who are registered as a professional client of The Casting Duo Casting / Modeling Agency. These sections are protected from the general public from being able to access & view any part of the models portfolio,to make it as secure & protected as far as reasonably possible, please read terms & conditions page on the site for any individual or persons found violating The Casting Duos Agencys terms of use.

7. The photographs you upload onto the site need to be of a professional  standard, & need to include a top quality head & shoulder shot, as this will be the first photograph the professional client sees & will be your best chance to promote yourself & encourage the client to view your profile further, you will also need to include a clear full length photograph, side profile and a character shot of you (character shots are particularly essential if you wish to promote yourself more into Casting areas of work) The photographs need to be a true likeness & to be up to date. Please go to the photography section of the website for further information on why its essential to have good portfolio shots and the reasons you would want to portray yourself in your best light for the Casting / Modelling industry.

8. If you want to be taken seriously within the Casting / Modelling industry you will need to think about personal grooming & professional approach & much more, At The Casting Duo Agency we are able to offer further advice on, SO YOU WANT TO BE A MODEL !!!!! 9.We welcome Models for a whole range of requirements by our professional clients including photographic, advertisers, catalogues, designers, sizing for fashion Models, pop videos, film extras,Supporting artists, featured extras, dance requirements, promotional work, Casting for theatre work
Musicals ect.

10.You will need to fill in the experience of work section to promote your interests as well, in this section please put as much as possible of what areas of work you would like to get into, & list any special talents  you have in a professional or amateur capacity, hobbies and interests, however diverse they may be, this is important as in the Casting / Modelling industry they are always looking for people with a  multitude of different talents. Everybody has got something to offer to the industry however small, & if you have the personality, confidence, & are willing to learn & put some time & effort into the area of work you want to promote yourself in, you should find you will start to fulfil your dream. The Casting Duo Ltd does not guarantee any offer of work to Casting / Models who register onto the Agency, we are a portfolio hosting website we are open to everyone with that certain something and the will to succeed.
